Introduction
I am leading an independent junior research group
(Emmy Noether group) at the Institute for
Theoretical Physics
of the Georg August University in
Goettingen, Germany. I am also member of the collaborative
research center SFB937 "Collective behavior of soft and
biological matter" (projects A1 and A16).
Our research is concerned with the elasticity and rheology of amorphous materials and complex fluids. Current research projects involve the mechanics of cytoskeletal networks/bundles, as well as the jamming transition in suspensions, emulsions or granular materials. For more information on our research projects please see the Research section.
Bachelor/Master projects

News -- The joint publication with groups from the TUM, 'A single charge in the actin binding domain of fascin can independently tune the linear and non-linear response of an actin bundle network', has been selected as frontcover in EPJE
News -- 'Impact of Attractive Interactions on the Rheology of Dense Athermal Particles' highlighted as Editors' Suggestion in PRL
