CRC1073

Collaborative research center CRC 1073:
Atomic scale control of energy conversion

The goal of this DFG funded research initiative is to understand the elementary steps of energy conversion in materials with tuneable excitations and interactions and to control them using structural and active tactics. I am involved in project B03 "Relaxation, thermalization and condensation in highly excited solids" and in project B07 "Elementary steps of energy conversion during and subsequent to a strong non-equilibrium excitation in correlated materials". More details can be found on the CRC 1073 webpage.

FOR5522

DFG Research Unit FOR 5522:
Quantum thermalization, localization, and constrained dynamics with interacting ultracold atoms

FOR 5522 investigates the out-of-equilibrium physics of closed quantum many-body systems and their thermalization properties in a combined effort of experiments with ultracold atoms in optical lattices and theoretical approaches. I am involved in project T1 "Ergodicity from SYK baths and ergodic inclusions". More details can be found on the FOR 5522 webpage.
